What shall I do if my mobile get lost or stolen?

  • The first thing to do is call the Customer Service toll free number and ask for the immediate suspension of your SIM card. Consumer customers must dial 190; business customers must dial 42323 if calling from a mobile phone or 800.227755 if calling from a landline.
  • Go to your local authority (the Police) and report the accident. Alternatively, you may make a self-declaration reporting the loss or theft.
  • To block your phone, send a copy of the Policereport or of the self-declaration to IMEI's fax toll free number (800.034651);
  • To get a new SIM card, consumer customers should go to a Vodafone Store with a copy of the Policereport or of the self-declaration and a valid ID. You may keep the same phone number, retrieve your credit and, if enrolled in Vodafone One, retrieve all of your points.

If you have already written out a self-declaration, compile a recovery self-declaration form. Fax a copy to the 800.034651 toll free number. Make sure that the block reference number given to you by IMEI is indicated on both the Police report and the self-declaration.
